Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, United Power Services, Inc. (UPSI) was incorporated in 1981. As a woman-owned small business, UPSI provides a wide range of laboratory services to supplement existing in-house capabilities. We also offer complete turn key testing services as required. UPSI's goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality, best service, and best value of insulating fluid analysis.

Laboratory services include testing and analysis for insulating liquids commonly found in various types of electrical equipment used in power transmission and distribution. Annual oil testing is the most cost effective method of providing accurate, reliable information about the internal condition of electrical apparatus. Proper evaluation of test results can aid in extending transformer life and preventing transformer failure. Currently, UPSI is testing 100,000 samples per year. UPSI's experience provides our customers with a confidence and quality assurance they have come to expect and depend on.
