Uninterruptible Power Supply

The Compaq UPS R3000 XR is a small and energy efficient 3000VA rack-mount uninterruptible power system (UPS) designed for customers who want to provide power protection in space-constrained rack enterprise environments. The unit delivers 2700 watts and includes both hot swap batteries and hot swap electronics. The entire system measures just 2U (3.5 in.). With an electronic design innovation using digital signal processors, the system is lightweight and also provides voltage regulation without using the battery. Option cards are also available for SNMP, networking, multi-server and operating system control, and for power scalability. Additional high-availability features for easy UPS service without powering down protected equipment include field flash-upgradeable firmware, a battery extended runtime module, and an automatic bypass mode.
