Substation Multiplexor

The Substation Multiplexor allows users to communicate to multiple devices within a substation with reliability and fast throughput. The unit multiplexes 16 serial ports to one master port, providing the ability to communicate with multiple serial RS485 or RS232 devices. The switch offers technology that buffers the phone line, making communication more reliable.

Designed for harsh applications, the unit offers 16 ports, built-in isolated 33K modem, and high-speed communication. The product also features universal design for any serial device, optical isolation, and an AC/DC power supply. Featuring a 19-in rack mount, the device also has a low component count.
