Safety Test Probes

The safety test probes for electrical compliance testing are designed for use with dielectric withstand testers and ground bond testers. The high voltage testing probes are rated for use up to 5 kVAC and 6 kVDC. The high current ground bond probes are rated for use up to 30 amps. The high voltage probes are available in several models, including a retractable-style probe and an advanced piston-style probe complete with built-in test switch.

The retractable high-voltage and return probes are designed for safe application of high voltage. Pressing the push-button extends the probe tip. Upon release of the button the probe tips retracts into the sleeve. The piston-style high voltage test probe has a dual-action test trigger that controls the retractable tip and activates the high voltage circuit of the instrument. The probe has an ergonomic shape for ease-of-use and continuous production line testing.

The probes allow for easy contact with grounding pistons of the device under test. The probes have separate test buttons to allow comfortable use in various positions. The switch can be used to activate high-current after making good contact with the test point, and the probes come with three styles of tips, enabling the testing of a wide range of products.
