Ritz Type OSKF Oil-Filled Current Transformers

Ritz offers a complete line of oil-filled current transformers for metering and protection applications from 69 kV to 765 kV. For 69 kV applications, please also refer to our QualiCast line of instrument transformers, which offers a dry-type design, Ritz type GIF72.

The Ritz OSKF design has an excellent in-service record spanning well over 25 years, largely due to the safety features offered in the standard unit. Special explosion-proof designs are available upon request.

All housings are cast-aluminum and no painting is required over the life of the unit.

All OSKF current transformers are available with either porcelain or polymer insulators.

For special revenue metering applications, Ritz offers the ERCT (Extended Range Current Transformer) option of the OSKF design. The design incorporates a state-of-the-art core/coil design with the proven OSKF insulation structure. The ERCT offers a 0.15% accuracy from 1A to 4000 A primary.
