Retrofit RTU's

Different approaches can be taken when utilities decide to upgrade their existing systems. One of the most important factors taken into consideration is cost-effectiveness. Microsols retrofit XCell suite offers many advantages.

In some cases utilities are conducting their retrofit program by firstly upgrading their communications.

The XCell Processor coupled with our protocol conversion capability is key in this instance.

The second and equally important side to our strategy is in the engineering of interface/adapter modules to use existing wiring from the field and simply use it to interface with the new RTU Technology. Microsol can customize these interface/termination modules, and then route the existing wiring to D-Type connectors to plug into our modules.
