Real-time Internet Metering

The AES-IntelliNet real-time Internet Metering system captures 15 minute electric, gas, or water meter interval data and displays it on the web before the close of the next interval. Data is posted 96 times a day and is used to manage peak energy, trading on the spot market, TOU tarriffs, remote optimization of energy use, and power quality in real time.

The system uses two-way AES-IntelliNet wireless routers to move data from meters to the Internet without using the public cellular or copper telephone lines. Real time metering can be deployed in any metro area. Data can be shared simultaneously with partners in the C & I energy supply chain and for demand management.
