Proto-Power, a subsidiary of Utility Engineering Corporation, provides the electric power industry with a broad range of engineering, design, software development, and project management services. Proto-Power's engineering and design staff are involved in all phases of power plant engineering, from conceptual design, through detailed design and procurement, to construction and startup testing. Project assignments cover a broad range of power plant applications, including: nuclear stations; coal, oil, or gas-fired boilers; simple and combined-cycle combustion turbines; reciprocating engine powered units; fuel cells; and cogeneration plants.
