Presley Crafts is a family owned and operated business, passed from father to son. J.T. Presley started Presley Crafts in Dallas, Texas in 1957, starting with just simple woodworking tools and five hundred dollars in starting capital. He began selling his hand-crafted wood products to various small businesses in the gift industry in Oak Cliff, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Before he realized it, orders soon grew to include many out-of-state accounts.

In 1964, his son Mike Presley assumed the responsibilities of Presley Crafts, allowing his father a well-earned retirement, although J.T.Presley still adds his expertise to the company growth. Today the styles and varieties of receptacle covers have grown along with the number of satisfied customers. The production methods may have changed since J.T. Presley bought his first tools, but the quality of the products at Presley Crafts has remained the same - EXCELLENT!
