The PortoSag creates voltage sags by switching from nominal voltage to a lower voltage source, then back to nominal
The PortoSag creates voltage sags by switching from nominal voltage to a lower voltage source, then back to nominal. The lower voltage source is derived from a variable transformer, which can be adjusted to a desired percentage of nominal voltage. The switches are synchronized by precise timing signals controlled by a laptop computer. As voltage sags are applied to process equipment, the computer monitors the response of critical process components through 16 channels of data acquisition.
