PFILUX features high optical fiber count, providing extra communication capabilities, depending on the type and number of optical fibers needed to meet specific customer requirements.
PFILUX features optical fibers placed loosely in a hermetically sealed stainless steel tube to form an optical unit. These tubes provide protection to the fibers, from operating, installation, and environmental conditions.

Aluminum-Clad Steel and Aluminum Alloy wires are stranded together with one or more optical units. The Aluminum-Clad Steel wires provide the mechanical strength required to withstand installation and operating conditions. The Aluminum Alloy wires provide the conductivity needed to control temperature rise during short circuit fault conditions.
