Ontario Energy Board Releases Decision Respecting Hydro One Transmission Cost Of Service Application

Toronto - Hydro One announced recently that the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued a decision respecting its 2011/2012 Cost of Service application for the transmission of electricity and other charges, to be effective January, 2011 (Board File No.: EB-2010-0002). A copy of the decision is available on the OEB's website at www.oeb.gov.on.ca.

Hydro One filed its application with the OEB on May 19, 2010. A copy of the application may be viewed or downloaded at http://www.hydroone.com/RegulatoryAffairs/Pages/TxRates.aspx.

Hydro One delivers electricity safely, reliably and responsibly to homes and businesses across the province of Ontario and owns and operates Ontario's 29,000 kilometre high-voltage transmission network that delivers electricity to large industrial customers and municipal utilities, and a 123,000 kilometre low-voltage distribution system that serves about 1.3 million end-use customers and smaller municipal utilities in the province. Hydro One is wholly owned by the Province of Ontario.
