Bainbridge Island, WA - PREDICT/DLI launches its new DLI Watchman DCX Online Intelligent Condition Monitoring systems. These systems can monitor from 4 to more than 4080 physical inputs and unlimited process and machine state information from a wide variety of plant and building control systems. The core of DCX Online is a Windows 98 (and soon Windows 2000) operating system that allows simultaneous data acquisition, intelligent automated diagnostics, access to its SQL database server, dynamic machine condition web site administration, alert E-mail/pages and worldwide network connectivity. Today's networking technologies provide new, easy methods of connecting machine condition monitoring systems and multi-level users. PREDICT/DLI is leading the industry in adapting its product line to best utilize these new technologies. Connectivity options range from simple dial-up networking to advanced virtual private networking (VPN) of DCX Online through a WAN or the Internet. The DCX Online system includes powerful database, data, information and OPC servers (for more information on OPC, see www.opcfoundation.org). These servers support a number of network clients including: ExpertALERT vibration analysis systems, DCX Diagnostic Data Collectors, real time analysis software, mimic displays, web browsers, Voyager Integrated PdM Environment, PersonalAdvisor Network alert system, plant control systems and third-party OPC clients.
