Model 163B, Ready to Travel

Pardis Industriesing out nearly 30 years ago, the Model 163-B was conceived and designed by Bob Pardis as the Model 163 Grounded Buried Cable Fault Locator, it was manufactured in great numbers by Joslyn Mfg. & Supply Co., of Chicago, Illinois. Part of a continuing design program, it has evolved to be the best earth gradient fault locator available on the market.

The Pardis Model 163-B is designed to locate grounded faults on unshielded electric cable. It offers a precise and reliable means of locating faults with ease, simplicity, portability, and affordability as well as durability for decades!

Aluminum and steel probes demonstrate our dedication to quality, safety and longevity. Pardis recently redesigned the probes to enhance the affordability and to reduce weight. The probe's head, including the tip and the spur (foot step) is a welded assembly. The head is mechanically bonded by heated assembly to the handle shaft which makes for an inseparable bond. They lock together for storage outside its case; a factor for longevity and low maintenance.
