Metalclad Switchgear

The PowerVac product line combines the features of metalclad construction with vacuum interrupter technology in the manufacture and design of medium voltage switchgear. The gear is rated from 4.16kV-250 MVA through 13.8k-1500MVA at 1200, 2000, 3000, 3500, and 4000 (fan-cooled breakers) amps. It is designed, assembled and tested to meet or exceed applicable ANSI, IEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards. UL and CSA certification is also available. The line includes arc resistant switchgear for customers who need added operating safety. Arc resistant switchgear is available in the above ratings through 3000 amps based on EEMAC's type C design requirements. Additional features include:
