Installation Instructions: Trinetics® UltraVac™

The Ultra Series vacuum switch is a solid dielectric, single pole device designed in conformance with ANSI Standard C37.66. The switch is constructed of a high performance vacuum interrupter fully encapsulated within a solid cycloaliphatic epoxy dielectric compound. The product may be used to switch capacitor banks, control lighting circuits and sectionalize power.

The vacuum switch can be operated electrically or by the manual lever. During electrical operation, the motor torque output is amplified by a permanently lubricated, steel-to-steel gear train enclosed in a corrosion resistant steel tank. Motor actuation occurs via a patented toggle link system.
