Industry Leaders To Strengthen Business Relationships At New NAED Executive Conference
St. Louis, MO - Developed specifically with industry business owners, chief officers and other senior level personnel in mind, the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) is holding its first Executive Conference at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, Maui, Hawaii, Sept. 5-8. Industry leaders will examine ways maximize their companies' day-to-day productivity and profitability strategies, as well as strategies to attract and retain valuable customers.
"This exciting new conference will provide leaders of all ages with an excellent opportunity and location to bond with each other while learning how to take leadership to the next level," explained Burt Schraga, president/CEO of the Santa Clara, Calif.-based Bell Electric Supply. As chair of the Executive Conference Committee, Schraga was instrumental in the planning of this inaugural networking event.
Highlights of the conference include presentations by Chuck Steiner, former owner and chairman of the Branch Group, and Joe Dillon, personal trainer to 22 Olympic gold medalists. Steiner, known for transforming his company into one of the most successful and lucrative businesses in the industry, will give the keynote address, "Currents of the Electrical Distribution Industry," on Thurs., Sept. 6. Then, on Friday, Dillon will facilitate the "Producing Peak Performance Seminar," open to both participants and their registered guests.
"I consider Chuck Steiner to be one of my mentors," said Past NAED Chair Tom Cloud, chairman/CEO of United Electric Supply, Wilmington, Del. "I've never spent time with him that I didn't learn several valuable financial lessons and insights about our business. Combining Chuck's financial advice with Joe Dillon's health and inspirational message will be a rewarding experience," he added.
Other conference activities include:
- Wailea Emerald Golf Course Tournament
- Jazz Under the Stars Dinner
