In this engine, hydrogen is used as an alternative fuel, theoretically producing water as the only by-product of combustion. A rigorous safety system is employed to help ensure that the engine is safe and reliable. The application is for a hybrid electric vehicle such that the engine runs at a constant speed. Additional features include:
Constant speed of 2500 RPM
Power Output >70 kW
Very low NOx emissions
High fuel efficiency
Tuned intake and exhaust
Electronic fuel injection
Custom camshaft design
Custom heads
Total computer control
