Hinz Automation was established as an industrial electrical engineering firm. Over the Company's history industrial controls have advanced significantly, with the onset of microcomputer based systems. Correspondingly, the project history of Hinz Automation has increasingly included a larger component of system configurations utilizing programmable, micro-computer based controls. Hinz Automation first became a leader in PLC applications in the late 1970's, as PLCs were first being accepted by industry. This status as a leader has been expanded to include a wide range of industrial control applications.
Each Hinz Automation office has a full complement of project personnel, computer equipment, CAD drafting, and support systems. To complement this self-sufficiency, Hinz Automation interchanges personnel and design concepts between offices, so that the experience bases can be integrated. Corporate structures and budgets are designed toward ensuring that the experience pool is not fragmented between offices.
The specialist nature of our firm has accommodated a continuous, yet controlled, company growth. Thus Hinz Automation has avoided the staff level oscillations which characterize many large multi-discipline consultants. A number of Hinz senior employees are also shareholders in the company, which adds to company stability and ensures a widespread active interest in developing long term relationships with clients.
