The CP 5613 is a PCI network interface under Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, designed to provide reliable, high performance PROFIBUS I/O communications features targeted to PC-based control or HMI applications. According to the manufacturer, users can gain fast and consistent access to process data, as well as fast commissioning through plug-and-play diagnostics tools with no limitations regarding number of connectable slaves or PROFIBUS data volumes.
