GEN 1 equipment is capable of transmitting and receiving status and analog data over a voice frequency (300-3500Hz) dedicated communications path. This series performs the same function as most Quindar, Sparling, QEI and DAQ equipment, and in many cases is pin-for-pin compatible.
This equipment is available in the original design with passive elements, or the latest versions with DSP (digital signal processing) technology and full programmability. GEN 1 equipment can be used in a variety of racks, including 3U 19", 1U 19" and wall mount versions with or without built in power supplies.
