The FM-15 Line Driver supports all baud rates from 100 to 115,200 bits per second.
This line driver supports both RS-232 or RS-485 DTE interfaces.
A built in power supply allows the modem to be operated between 18-72Vdc
Operation
The FM-15 Fiber Optic Line Driver provides asynchronous byte or bit oriented communications at up to 115,200 baud. This line driver operates over Fiber Optic cables at distances of up to 2km.
The FM-15 offers multi-drop capabilities thus offering the facility of forming a network of modems. This facility allows full optical isolation between multiple devices.
