Everett, WA — Fluke Corporation, specialists in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, has announced two electrical/HVAC kits designed to provide the tools that electricians and HVAC technicians need for quick troubleshooting in a convenient packaged solution. The kits include an IR thermometer for quickly testing electrical devices for overheating and other electrical test tools for more in-depth problem diagnostics.

The IR Thermometer, T5 Electrical Tester and Voltage Detector Kit includes the following in a nylon carrying case:

  • Fluke 62 Mini Infrared Thermometer with best-in-class accuracy of ± 1.5 % of reading, a wide temperature range from -30 degrees C to 500 degrees C (-20 degrees F to 932 degrees F), single point offset laser sighting; and backlit display.
  • Fluke T5-600 Voltage, Continuity and Current Tester, which automatically measures volts ac and volts dc with precise digital resolution, displays resistance to 1000 ohms, enables current measurement up to 100 amps without breaking the circuit with its OpenJaw™ feature, and includes a continuity beeper.
  • Fluke 1AC-II VoltAlert™ Voltage Detector featuring VoltBeat™ continuous self-test capability so users always know that it is working. Upon detection of voltage, the tip glows and a beeper sounds. The Fluke 1 AC-II Voltage Detector has a range of 90 volts to 1000 volts ac, and has a CAT IV 1000 V rating.

The IR Thermometer, Clamp Meter and Voltage Detector Kit includes the following in a nylon carrying case:

  • Fluke 62 Mini Infrared Thermometer
  • Fluke 322 Clamp Meter with resolution up to 0.01 amps and 0.1 volts. It measures ac current to 400 amps, measures ac volts and dc volts to 600 volts, measures resistance to 400 ohms, and includes continuity checking.
