Envision Utility Software Corporation develops and provides customer information and billing systems and consulting and implementation services to the deregulating utilities market. Established in 1986, the company grew out of a rich tradition of developing innovative, comprehensive solutions uniquely designed to meet changing customer requirements.

Envision is owned by Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), one of the five largest member-owned utilities in the United States. PEC, along with Envision's other customers, has provided invaluable input into the development of product features and functionality required by utilities in a deregulating marketplace. In 1995, as the result of a customer-task force decision, Envision announced its adoption of Oracle's Relational Database Management System (RDBMS®) and development tools for its Customer Information System (CIS) database platform and software tools. The company's rewrite of its previous UserBase CIS/Billing application has been in live production at PEC since February 1998. The conversion to a 100% Oracle-based system makes Envision's CIS/Billing software a leader in its class.

With headquarters in Santa Fe, New Mexico and offices in Austin, Texas, Envision's mission remains unchanged. Our staff is dedicated to helping customers achieve control of their data by providing comprehensive, flexible utility applications. Additionally, we are committed to nurturing an environment in which product innovation is driven by customer needs.
