Power Plant Awards Banquet
POWER magazine and PRB Coal Users' Group award recipients are honored at this industry gathering which recognizes exemplary power plants. Fred Haise, who was portrayed by actor Bill Paxton in the blockbuster Ron Howard film, Apollo 13, and served as the lunar module pilot during the ill-fated 1970 space mission will be this year's guest speaker.
PRB Coal Users' Group Annual Meeting
The leading user group for PRB coal will again hold its Annual Meeting, which is expected to attract hundreds of operating and engineering management professionals, at ELECTRIC POWER.
Combined Cycle Users' Group Annual Meeting
With a membership of nearly 1,000 members from throughout the world, the Combined Cycle Users' Group, which is affiliated with ASME and focuses on the total plant - the gas turbine, HRSG and the steam turbine, will again hold its Annual Meeting at ELECTRIC POWER.
Nuclear Pavilion
A special pavilion has been added this year on the exhibit floor dedicated to showcasing the latest products and services for nuclear power generation.
CARBON CONSTRAINT
For the first time, the CARBON CONSTRAINT Conference is now co-located with ELECTRIC POWER. This highly-focused event addresses the impact of carbon management legislation and technical solutions for the power generation industry.
