Data Acquisition System

Fire Wind and Rain Technologies LLC data acquisition system is suited for a variety of applications and offers a menu-driven setup user interface and Internet access. The system features up to 48 input channels and non-volatile flash memory for data logging. The flash memory system stores up to 3,900 samples and data can be downloaded by modem, direct serial connection or via removable memory modules to popular spreadsheet programs. Housed in a weather-proof enclosure, the system holds up to six option cards that measure DC volts, DC current, AC voltage, AC current, frequency, temperature (using optional temperature probes or thermocouples and contact closures). Three relays on the motherboard can be activated by input channels or by user-defined parameters such as time of day. Suited for mobile applications, it can be powered by a DC power supply providing 12-60 volts. An anti-theft feature disables the unit if it is unplugged.
