Black & Veatch Providing Engineering Expertise For U.S. Wind Energy Projects Totaling 2,000 Megawatts
Overland Park, KS - Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, announced recently it is currently providing engineering services for 27 U.S. wind energy projects that will generate approximately 2,000 megawatts of electricity. This is the energy equivalent to power 700,000 homes.
Black & Veatch is in the process of expanding its presence in the Denver area to include additional renewable energy experts, among other technical expertise. The company has also expanded resources in other metropolitan areas including San Francisco and Kansas City, allowing the company to leverage an integrated workforce to meet its clients' growing energy needs.

In addition, the company is involved in numerous electric transmission projects that will bring wind energy to high-demand areas.
