Appleton Introduces K Series U-Line Receptacles

Rosemont, IL - Appleton, a premium supplier of industrial electrical components, has expanded its U-Line family of explosion-proof receptacles to include the new K Series.

Compatible with existing backboxes used to mount Killark Acceptor and Crouse-Hinds ArkoGuard 2 receptacles, K Series receptacles allow MRO electricians to easily swap out these products in favor of Appleton's superior U-Line technology without installing a new backbox or requiring special adapter plates.

U-Line K Series receptacles are rated for Class I, Div 1 and 2, Groups C, D when installed on Killark or Crouse-Hinds backboxes.

With its copper-free aluminum cover, epoxy powder coat, gasketed flip-lid cover, and a fiberglass-reinforced polyester insulating block, the U-Line is an ideal candidate for use in damp or corrosive conditions. Another key feature is its "Dead-Front" construction that keeps a plug from being removed under load.
