AIM SkyBox is an AC-powered multipoint data collection device that can automatically read up to 16 meters equipped with dry contact closure (KYZ) outputs. Using American Innovation's Skylemetry technology, AIM Skybox uses existing cellular networks for 2-way wireless communication with the AI data center. The contact closures can be delivered from KYZ output, Optical Pulse Initiator or any similar device. The meter readings are stored in non-volatile memory and reported on demand and/or according to a set schedule. And you are in complete control. Once you've entered your security information, you can use your browser to download meter readings, upload site configuration settings and enter requests for on-demand readings. Spreading the cost of the radio and "smarts" across 16 meters allows us to offer this wireless metering hardware for under $100 installed.
