The latest telemetry technology offered by INIVEN is available in the 98 Series. The 98 Series equipment is capable of transmitting and receiving status and analog data over a small portion of a voice frequency (300-3500Hz) dedicated communications path. Other options such as dedicated fiber optic and RS-232 communications are also available. This series performs the same function as other manufacturers' 98 Series equipment, and in many cases is pin for pin compatible.
The 98 Series was designed with the latest DSP (digital signal processing) technology. The transmitters and receivers are fully programmable on the board, and do not require any external programming equipment. A multiplexer is available that can transmit up to 8 analog points and 16 status points economically in one module.
