The orange insulation on each tool consists of two layers. The outer layer consisting of orange PVC, which is flame retardant, and has an increased anti-slip grip handle. The outer layer also has been stamped with the official 1000V-rating symbol. The inner layer consists of an unbreakable hard white coat bonded to the metal.
