The 9300 series of power meters can measure power quality by detecting harmonics and disturbances that could interrupt a process or damage electrical power equipment. Increased power quality allows industrial and institutional users to optimize capital equipment and reduce power disruptions. Also equipped with features to automate sub-billing, the meters meet ANSI C12.16 revenue accuracy for effective monitoring and management of utility bills. By tracking energy consumption and peak demand, the meters can automatically shed loads or initiate back-up power to minimize energy costs. A built-in Ethernet card allows the meters to plug into existing LANs, thereby saving wiring costs.

Two meters comprise this series: the 9300 and the 9330. The 9300 offers all aforementioned features plus Profibus compatibility. The 9330 offers Time of Use (TOU) rate structures, transformer line loss compensation and load profiling to better manage energy use. It also has discreet input and modem capability built into the meter itself. With user-friendly display screens that can be configured for customized applications, both meters can stand alone or link back to a PC, PLC or SCADA system. Both meters support multiple protocols (including Modbus) and meet UL, CE and CSA standards.
