Ultra Power Technologies, Inc.e-art phase-resolved partial discharge analysis (PRPDA) and consulting is more sensitive to pre-failure defects than traditional methods.
The partial discharge patterns formed from PRPDA identify the source of the defect, such as: cavities in the insulation, inclusions in the insulation, protrusions of the semi-conducting layer, and poor workmanship at terminations and joints.
After the specimen has been analyzed, a complete report of the findings will be delivered, along with the specimen, if desired.
