Isolux Corsán Awarded The Construction Of 42 Km. Of Transmission Lines In Mexico

Isolux Corsán has been awarded a contract for the construction of 42 km of transmission lines in Mexico.

The project is known as "1116D Transformación del Noreste" and is located in the State of Nuevo León, and includes the engineering, procurement and construction of 42 km. of 400 kV and 115 kV transmission lines.

In addition, the company will also be responsible for building the Regiomontano 500 MVA substation and the expansion of the existing Cadereyta substation.

This award, granted by the Federal Electricity Commission of Mexico under the Lump Sum Financed Public Works contracting model has a budget of 50 million dollars and an execution period of 480 days.

Consolidating presence in Mexico
This project confirms the presence of Isolux Corsán in Mexico, where it currently manages two highways concession, Saltillo-Monterreyand Perote-Xalapa Banderilla, 95 and 60 kilometers in length respectively, for a period of 45 years. In addition the company has executed a section of Highway Campeche - Mérida also awarded by the SCT. The Group has recently been awarded the construction of the "Bypass Poniente Acapulco" highway in the state of Guerrero.
