Flush Mount

This Panel Adapter ( SWA_U_ ) converts a standard socket meter to a small case switchboard meter. Therefore, eliminating the need to stock or maintain more than one type of metering package. It is also designed to replace existing small case swithchboard metering equipment. It requires no changes to the substation steel panel or its existing cut-out to be installed. This Adapter with a socket meter becomes a retrofit kit that is capable of replacing manufacturers' metering equipment for panel mounting.

The installation is an easy one man job. First remove the old equipment. From the rear of the panel, plug the Adapter with the meter into the existing cut-out. The hook on the Adapter allows secure temporary mounting. Next, the installer can proceed to the front of the panel to permanently secure the Adapter.

SPECIFICATIONS
Utility grade construction. The mounting frame is 1/8" steel with a 1/16" back plate for the socket adapter. The frame is powder painted gray. The socket is made from UL recognized parts. The jaws are made from heavy duty tin plated phosphorus bronze. Terminal connections will accept up to #10 wire.
