In combination, these features allow users to set reasonable performance targets and monitor success both for individual buildings and for an entire organization.
Buildings with benchmark scores higher than 75 are eligible for the ENERGY STAR label for buildings. This label can be displayed on buildings to convey performance excellence to tenants, customers, and other occupants. An organization's ability to point to a significant percentage of labeled buildings can send a positive message to lenders, appraisers, owners, investors, and potential tenants or customers. Use the Portfolio Manager to find label candidates and to apply for label.
