Alliant Energy Promoting Iowa One Call Excavator Safety Awareness Training

Builders, landscapers and excavators are encouraged to attend

Cedar Rapids, IW - Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL), an Alliant Energy company, is participating in the Iowa One Call 2010 Excavator Safety Awareness Program offered at locations throughout the state. The program is designed to inform and educate those who work outside to learn more about working safely near underground utility systems.

Builders, landscapers and excavators are encouraged to attend. Representatives from Iowa One Call will explore the issues of participation and communication.

  • What are some of the problems we face that impede the effectiveness of the system?
  • What can we do to improve system efficient?
  • How can we facilitate cooperation between all entities involved?
