Utility Tool

Metrix Utility is a tool for monitoring energy usage and verifying operating cost savings from utility performance measures. It establishes baseline and target usage patterns, which can be used as a gauge of building performance and operational policy. It uses specific algorithms to test for correlation to weather data or other user-defined variables. Additional features include:

•Extracts information from bills and meters to identify potential problem areas, helps reduce utility cost overruns, and prioritizes facility management resources
•Verifies the performance of facility improvement measures, corrects for weather and other variables which affect utility cost, and uses historical utility data to establish a "baseline" for the facility
•Compares utility costs under different pricing schedules for specific usage profile
•Enables concise reports and graphics for each stage of a project, setup and baseline tuning, bill validation, tracking and savings verification, price comparisons, facility ranking and summary, etc.
