Liberty Power signs new multi-year supply agreement with leading natural gas and power marketer

Fort Lauderdale, FL /PRNewswire/ - Liberty Power, the nation's largest, completely independent retail electric supplier, today announced their new multi-year supply agreement with Shell Energy North America (US), L.P. (Shell Energy).

Liberty Power's decision to select Shell Energy as its provider for such a critical support service was made after a thoughtful and deliberate due-diligence process, finding the oil and natural gas marketing and trading company to be best positioned to support its evolving needs. Liberty Power will soon begin the process of transitioning to Shell Energy.

"We are very excited about our new agreement with Shell Energy," said David Hernandez, Liberty Power CEO and co-founder. "We look forward to working with such a strong and experienced market leader as we continue to meet the growing needs of our customers."

"Shell Energy and Liberty Power have a natural connection – we are committed to our customers," said Beth Bowman, Shell Energy North America General Manager. "We are pleased Liberty Power recognizes that Shell Energy is in the best position to help them meet their future needs, delivering added value to their customers for years to come."
