HotShot XL

HotShot XL establishes a new class of infrared camera, the thermography data logger. HotShot combines a pen-based Windows CE computer with powerful software functionality including our new route based infrared survey feature to deliver a system with unique capabilities and industry leading ease of use. HotShot incorporates a high performance uncooled micro-bolometer infrared focal plane array that produces sharp, highly sensitive thermal images and accurate temperature measurement from –20° to 500°C. In Camera analysis tools include up to 5 spot meters, a graphical line profile display and dynamic area. HotShot features an articulating thermal camera that makes is viewing objects from floor level to overhead easier and more comfortable. A telephoto and wide-angle lens are available for application specific inspections such as distribution line and switchgear panels. The rugged camera body features rubber grip areas, color-coded touch points, an IP-54 environmental rating and an integrated battery compartment for its common camcorder battery that powers the camera for up to 4 hours.

HotShot's intuitive icon based user interface, easy to use joystick control and touch screen interface facilitates the easy capture of inspection point locations, incident information and observation details that can later be automatically incorporated into reports. HotShot's Compact Flash accessory port provides an industry standard CF Card interface for a wide range of existing and future accessory. The USB port and Active Sync provides an easy method for downloading data to a computer.
