A new non-invasive flame sensor, the 8TP10 LMXI, is designed to be reliable, easy to install, and provide long life. They also detect light off, see flame well in water-injected combustors, and can be used for advanced purposes such as oscillation detection. This model is a solid state sensor developed specifically for aeroderivative engines with 125°C max sensor locations. A standard loop-powered, 24 VDC, 4-20 mA output connects directly to many control systems, or through a standard relay module.
