DM-30 - Programmable Redundant Modem

The DM-30 redundant modem is a high performance modem suitable for applications on 2-wire or 4-wire pilot cable systems.

This modem is capable of throughput speeds of up to 9600 baud using V.29 full duplex communication over a 4-wire pilot cable system. The DM-30 modem is also compatible with older communications standards such as V.23 and Bell 202T.

Operation

Each DM-30 modem module contains up to two individual modem cards for redundant applications. The modem fits in a double EuroCard configuration that can be either slotted into a standard double Eurocard, 19" rack or in a 1U 19" rack mount enclosure for fitting into a cabinet when space is an issue.
