The EPRI PEAC System Compatibility Research Project offers the opportunity for electric utilities, manufacturers, equipment users, and standards organizations to jointly sponsor research projects to understand, solve, and eventually prevent power quality problems. We have conducted dozens of collaborative research projects, the results of which have influenced national and international standards.

We also offer the opportunity for custom applied research and development. When you sponsor an applied research project, you determine 1) what will be tested, 2) which protocol will be used for testing, and 3) how the results will be reported. We can even develop products and technologies to specifications, and conduct market analyses to determine how favorable the market is to a particular power quality product. Additionally, we can develop custom test plans, protocols, and performance criteria for companies that desire complete control over a research or testing project.
