AIM Module

The AIM Module is a low-cost, reliable, automated single-channel load profiling device that fits inside all US residential electricity meters. It can be programmed to report into the network software hourly, weekly or monthly and is capable of collecting load profile data in 5, 15, 30 or 60 minute intervals. It can capture time-of-use information and peak demand. All of these parameters are remotely programmable. When used in conjunction with AIM Profiler software, it can produce graphs of load profile and peak demand suitable for printing or publishing on the Internet in HTML format.

The AIM Module can be equipped with a gel cel battery and programmed to report power outages and restorations in real time. Outage and restoration duration are remotely reprogrammable. When used in conjunction with AIM Alert or AIM Notify software, the AIM Module can automatically notify key personnel by fax, page and/or email of a power outage.

The AIM Module can be configured to gather readings from gas and water encoders, and to report the readings along with electricity metering data. This feature supports gas meters from Rockwell/Equimeter and American, as well as water meters from Rockwell/Sensus, Kent/ABB and Schlumberger Neptune.
