An extension of the Aclara TWACS technology AMI solution, the TWACS Power Reliability Outage Assessment System (PROasys) software helps utilities make use of the AMI data to quickly assess system status and identify outages.
The PROasys software strategically pings meters based on network topology. Its group-mode function pings over 1000 meters per minute per bus, a rate 10 to 100 times faster than pinging done by serial number.
