Blower ventilation is required for below and above ground transformer vaults and transformer rooms to remove the heat dissipated by the transformers.
When a blower forces air into a transformer vault or transformer room, the result is similar to that of fans mounted on pad transformers out of doors. Heat is dissipated away from the transformers. The blower discharges high velocity turbulent air that is pushed all around the vault or room.
