Survalent Technology Commissions a New Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) for South Alabama Electric Cooperative

South Alabama Electric Cooperative (SAEC) purchases wholesale power from PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, located in Andalusia, AL, and takes delivery of this electricity at 13 substations strategically placed around our growing system. SAEC is a Member of the Alabama Rural Electric Association in Montgomery, AL.

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, SCADA Explorer, Command Sequencing, Event Data Recording, IED Wizard and Control Panel, SCADA Add-In, Remote Alarm Annunciation, Capacitor Bank Control, Virtual RTU, MultiSpeak, Dynamic Voltage Reduction, WebSurv, and SurvCentral for Mobile Devices.
