Everybody doesn't need the maximum, so Shakespeare's CB antennas also come in a version for applications where the antennas won't have to withstand high wind forces. The AS-1730W and AS-1730B VIP Sticks are the same broadband, end-fed 3/8-wave antennas as the heavier duty models. They're also built for maximum performance in the 26 to 30 MHz band, using the same antenna technology as Shakespeare's military antennas. These antennas are civilian versions of Shakespeare's Style 173 antennas specified around the world.
Choice of colors
The Light Duty Army Sticks come in White (AS-1730W) or Black (AS-1730B), each 48" in length. The ideal choice if you don't need the extra mechanical strength and wind resistance of the regular Army Sticks.
