AltOptronic's LDS 3000 analyzer is designed to handle the very rough industrial environment consisting of high temperature, electromagnetic fields, high dust loads, etc. The system is composed of three parts, the central unit, hybrid cable, and the sensor. The transmitter and the receiver in the sensor are interconnected with a loop cable and the sensor is connected to the central unit with a hybrid cable containing fiber optics. The length of this cable can exceed 1 km.

Due to the stability of the detection method used in the analyzer, maintenance calibration of the system is not necessary. According to the manufacturer, the calibration state of the LDS 3000 is very stable and not subject to long term drifts. Zero point calibrations are never done. Features of the unit include:

•Dynamic dust load compensation
•Selectable range
•No gas sampling - in-situ measurements
•Three measuring points simultaneously
•High temperature range up to 600°C
•NH3 and H2O can be measured with the same instrument

The analyzer will be on display at booth #3080.
