POWER-GEN 2000: Distributed Generation Power Equipment

The new DG and SG series of distributed generation power equipment will be on display at Generac's booth (#5858), as well as its entire line of generator and switchgear products.

The DG Series, in easily installed 50 kW, 100 kW, and 200 kW configurations, brings distributive power generation to all kinds of power users. When used in conjunction with Generac-designed switchgear, the DG50, 100, and 200 units can supplement or fully replace utility generated power at times of peak demand, to allow users to avoid power curtailment or interruption, as well as peak demand charges. Under certain conditions, excess power generated may even be returned to the grid and sold back to the utility during these high-demand periods.

The SG Series is the high-output solution to distributed generation needs and large demand applications. The SG500 and SG1000 gen-sets are the answer for large industrial and commercial users who need reliable peak-shaving capabilities on a large scale. These lean-burn natural gas engines provide 500 kW and 1000 kW outputs for demanding applications.
